Gaming Is An Addiction
Well, it is, at least in China. The Chinese government is now offering treatment for teens who are suffering from the new addiction known as gaming by “experimenting with a new summer camp aimed at getting kids off the internet and into therapy. The ten day camp would play host to forty teens and young adults who would receive counseling, focusing on attendees’ psychological and developmental problems.”
The country is also clamping down on internet cafes and, according to Reuters, “mulling restrictions over violent video games.”
It might sound a little extreme, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
As for tomorrow’s post, here’s a little something to look forward to: Mega Man Star Force! I’ll post my impressions of the new Capcom title tomorrow, so stay tuned!
