Free NES Emulator for Firefox Web Browser

Video game system emulators are always going to fall into a legal gray area, so before we proceed with this story, we must warn you about the possible legal ramifications. They say that it’s okay to have the emulator, but it might not be quite as okay to get your hands on the ROMs. Whatever the case, this could be pretty awesome.

An add-on for the popular Mozilla Firefox web browser has been developed that lets you play 2,500 NES games on your computer, right through the web browser. Over 75,000 have already downloaded the add-on at the time of this writing, but if you want to get it, you probably should get it soon. There’s a good chance that Mozilla will pull it from their download library soon, just to be on the safe side.
