Free Games with Xbox 360 Purchase

It’s not uncommon for retailers to put together their own special console bundles to try and entice you into a purchase. Some places may toss in a “free” controller or maybe some other bonus. The Xbox 360 is no exception and I remember when Future Shop had a deal that tossed in Gears of War and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed with the purchase of any Xbox 360. That includes the el cheapo $199 Arcade.

Well, Microsoft is coming out with a few official bundles of its own. The pricing remains exactly the same as the retail SKUs without pack-in games, so if you’ve been thinking of making a purchase, you may want to wait until these new bundles hit the primetime.

The $299 Xbox 360 Pro and $399 Xbox 360 Elite both come with a free copy of Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda. Lego may be cool, but Kung Fu Panda? I’m thinking Force Unleashed is better. If you go with the $199 Arcade Holiday Bundle, you get five XBLA games and Sega Superstars Tennis. These bundles should be launching later this month.
