Final Fantasy XIII To Arrive Next Year
Final Fantasy fans will be happy to note that release dates are now available for FF XIII. The game will be hitting Japan this year. The English version is going to be available on April 2010.
Square Enix President Yoichi Wada (via Guardian) has told Reuters this week that the long-awaited Final Fantasy XIII will be hitting Japan in 2009, and overseas (on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) in the fiscal year beginning April 2010.
That’s quite a long time to wait for a game that’s going to be one of the defining titles for the PS3. As with things of this magnitude, expect translations to pop up on the Internet that will help you play the Japanese version of the game should you decide to import one. Reviews are soon to follow and before you know it, we’ll know all about FF XIII even before the English version comes out. Of course, that won’t be an exclusive for the PS3 since Xbox 360 owners will also be able to play it.
