Final Fantasy XIII Jumps On The Xbox 360 Bandwagon

Final Fantasy XIII is coming to the Xbox 360! That’s it. Do I need to explain more?

PS3 fanboys are crying foul right now. Previous Final Fantasy titles such as FFX and FFXII only appeared on the PS2. They were never released for the original Xbox, so Square Enix is deviating from the norm here. To add insult to injury, the game will be released simultaneously on both consoles.

FFXIII is the other potential system-seller that I was keeping an eye on (the other being Metal Gear Solid 4) to see if Sony could recover from the disaster that the PS3 is proving to be. Is this the nail on the coffin? Is there anything left in Sony’s arsenal, something that it could fire back at Microsoft and Nintendo?
