Fallout 3 Is Done
Fallout 3 is done, it’s finished and, more importantly, it’s going to meet its deadline.
The eagerly awaited nuclear winter is almost here. A full decade after the release of the postapocalyptic role-playing game Fallout 2 on the PC and four years after work on the project began, Bethesda Softworks today announced that Fallout 3 has gone gold for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
I think I’ve described this game to death by now, so you can look up our previous coverage if you want to find out more about it.
It’s been ten years since Fallout 2. I didn’t even need the news post to determine how long it’s been. My copy of Fallout 2 was a gift and I’m not going to tell you how I reacted when I got it. All I can say is that I was glad to own it, having recently finished Fallout 1 back then. Ten years later, we finally have a proper installment. I can’t wait till the 28th.
