Fallout 3 DLC Released
The first DLC for the post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 3, entitled Operation Anchorage, is now available. Players can grab it from Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live for 800 points or $10 USD. It will not be available from Bethesda directly, unlike previous DLCs from the developer.
The new DLC will allow players to enter a simulation recreating the battle between Chinese and American forces in pre-nuked Alaska, marking the first time that the series has gone to the past. That in itself should be interesting enough for long-time fans, but of course, there’s more to look forward to in future content.
Unfortunately, the PS3 version of the game will be left out of the DLC for now. There’s no word on when it’s getting Operation Anchorage, if it ever will. Producer Todd Howard says that there are “no plans” to do anything with the PS3 version of Fallout 3 at the moment. Ouch.
