Download Gran Turismo 5 Prologue From PSN Store
It’s not a full game. Many are saying that it’s little more than a glorified demo. Even so, I think I want it and I want it pretty badly.
I’ve been itching for the sequel to Gran Turismo 4 for some time now, so it is with a lot of anticipation that I await the full version of Gran Turismo 5. In the meantime, we are forced to indulge in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, which is basically a super limited version of what the final game will be. If you’re having a hard time finding a copy in stores (or if you’re just too lazy to go outside), you can now download GT5:P through the American PSN Store.
The download price — US$40 — is the same as the price you’d pay at a brick and mortar store for a physical disc, so I’m not really sure what is the incentive other than semi-instant gratification. I say semi-instant, because you will still need to sit through the 1.9GB download. And that’s just for the game itself. The opening and ending movies are downloaded separately.
If you’re debating whether GT5:P is worth it, watch the GameSpot video review above.
