Disgaea On The DS Confirmed

Disgaea has been announced for the DS. Rumors circulated more than a couple of months ago and although a PSP port was released, the DS version never came to light until now.

The scans from Famitsu indicate that the game will be entitled “Disgaea: Prince of the Demon World and the Red Moon”, so it looks like we’ll be seeing another port of the original PS2 version. It’s the same one that was released on the PSP. If you add that to the fact that we’ll be seeing lower graphics because of the limited hardware, then you’ve already got two things going against Disgaea on the DS.

NIS might have to bring something new to the table to attract gamers. After all, this is the second portable version of the game. Will the novelty of the stylus be enough to convince players to give it another try?
