Cooking Mama Sequel Baking in the Oven

I’m useless in the kitchen. The only thing I know how to make are reservations. But strangely, I’m remarkably good at Cooking Mama for the DS. Well, for all the other would be chefs in the audience, I’ve got some pretty good news for you. A sequel to Cooking Mama has been announced for both the Nintendo DS and the wave-your-arms-in-every-which-way Wii.

The developers promise that we’ll get plenty more recipes, a funky multiplayer mode, and new minigames for a little extra flavor, but you’re more or less in for the same adventure all over again.

The sequel is currently only been planned for Japan, but given Cooking Mama’s popularity in other regions, I’d imaging that CM2 will get regionized for the States and Europe too.
