Confirmed: Ubisoft to Develop Heroes Game

C’mon, we all love Hiro Nakamura and his ability to bend space and time. We can’t help but feel for Claire Bennet, even though she can heal from any physical wound. Even though the popular TV series “Heroes” has only been on the air for one year, they’re already working on a video game that is based on the superhero-minded program.

It has been confirmed that Ubisoft will spearhead the project and they plan on creating the “Heroes” video game for next-generation consoles and PC for release as early as “late 2008.” There’s no mention as to which specific systems that they’ll be working on, but given the huge relationship that Ubisoft has with Japan’s 5th largest company, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to find a Wii take on the Heroes universe.

More details are expected at Comic-Con this weekend.
