Blizzard’s April Fool’s Wrap-Up

Blizzard celebrated April Fool’s Day with jokes for all of its popular franchises. Here’s the list:

World of WarCraft enjoyed two gags. A new PvP system was revealed: Dance Battle! Instead of arena-style combat, players will participate in dance-offs to see who is king or queen of rhythm.

Not to be outdone, WoW-Europe unveiled Pimp My Mount, a new feature that’s supposed to allow players to decorate and customize their mounts to their liking.

Diablo 3 introduced a new class: the Archivist. In stark contrast to the battle-hardened Barbarian or arcane-wielding Wizard, the Archivist threatens to defeat his foes by chronicling his exploits. Such abilities are simply unheard of.

Finally, StarCraft 2′s Terrans have the final say when it comes to ultimate weaponry. Just when you think that base is just a base, there’s more to it than meets the eye.
