Bioware & LucasArts Title To Be Announced On October 21
Bioware and LucasArts will announce a new game on October 21. Could this be the Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic MMO that everyone is talking about?
On October 21, at around 2PM Pacific, BioWare and LucasArts will finally reveal whatever the heck they’ve been working on, as evidenced by Massively’s invitation to the event. More than a few signs point the way to the project being an MMO based on Knights of the Old Republic. Massively speculates that the title of the game could be Star Wars: The Old Republic.
So, mark your calendars. If it’s actually based on the KOTOR universe, the lore will definitely be fun to see. I’ve always wondered how Bastila ended up and whether Revan is alive or not. I’m partial to the forgetful Sith Lord myself, compared to the Exile, who was a little boring for me.
Here’s to hoping that it is KOTOR. After all, it’s the finest Star Wars-based RPG ever made.
