Billy Corgan on Guitar Hero: World Tour

We already knew that Smashing Pumpkins is going to play a rather major role in Guitar Hero World Tour, not only lending one of their songs to the cause, but also debuting the new single through the game rather than conventional means. Furthermore, Smashing Pumpkins lead guitarist Billy Corgan is going to be one of the playable characters in the hotly anticipated rhythm game.

Well, it seems that a film crew caught up with Corgan as he was going through the motion capture process at the Neversoft offices. Watch as Corgan goes through the total rocker motions, decked out in a variety of motion capturing periphernalia. Yes, he even smashes his axe at the end in true rocker fashion.

In any case, Guitar Hero World Tour ships on October 26. Who will win? Rock Band 2 or GH:WT? You decide.
