Art: Fast Food Goes Fighting

If video games were real life, then we all know that the only way to settle a score is through a fighting game. Old wounds never die, sins are never forgiven, wrongs are never made right: these are the one-dimensional reasons why video game characters duke it out onscreen. With Capcom Versus series and DC VS MK, we even give entire universes superficial reasons to go against each other, just to see what kind of mayhem they can cause.

In a bit of a What if of his own, artist Lysol-Jones creates an image of a fighting game with fast food mascots as the combatants. You’ll see familiar faces. Ronald looks like he got dipped in the same vat the Joker fell in. Wendy is all grown up, to say the least. And the Colonel, well, let’s just say he looks like he’s cooking something other than chicken.

Again, it’s just art, but in the unlikely event that someone made a decent game out of it, even one of those Flash-based ones, I’d give it a spin.
