A New Resident Evil Movie

Another Resident Evil movie is in the works. This time, it will be following the CG route.

Capcom has announced that they will be making a “full-length CG animation feature” based on the Resident Evil property. The new film is set to be called Biohazard: Degeneration, and Capcom is going to be working with Sony Pictures of Japan’s subsidary SPEJ.

Details are still scarce at the moment, aside from the obvious collaboration between Sony and Capcom. Will the visuals appear similar to what we saw in Advent Children? How close will the story be to the lore established by the series? We’ll keep you posted.
